What is Termy?
Termy is a native Swift SSH client and DevOps workspace for macOS. It brings terminals, SFTP, tunnels, host diagnostics, containers, data services and automation into one application.
Which macOS version does Termy require?
The current Termy download requires macOS 26 or later. Earlier macOS releases are not supported.
Is there a permanent free plan?
Yes. Free includes up to five hosts, five SSH keys, native SSH and SFTP, basic Host X-ray and one direct data-service connection.
What does Termy Pro add?
Pro adds unlimited hosts and SSH keys, full Host X-ray, multi-host Broadcast, Pipelines and Playbooks, container and data-service integrations, session replay, activity history and optional iCloud sync on up to three devices.
Does Termy support SSH agents and 1Password?
Yes. Termy can use an external SSH agent. The supported 1Password SSH Agent integration reads public identities and delegates signing without copying private keys.
Does Termy execute ProxyCommand?
No. ProxyCommand routes are rejected. Termy supports linked OpenSSH aliases and multi-hop or nested ProxyJump routes; Match and ProxyCommand commands are never executed.
Does Termy run standard Ansible playbooks?
Termy implements a documented subset of Ansible-compatible YAML through its own SSH engine. It does not embed ansible-playbook, and unsupported behavior blocks the run during preflight.
Where do my credentials and server data go?
Keys and passwords stay in Keychain or with your external SSH agent. Commands, terminal output, server addresses and incident evidence are not sent for analytics. iCloud sync and measurement are opt-in. Account and billing information is described separately in the Privacy Policy.
How do I get the current release?
Use the download links on the official termyapp.com website or its Releases page. Public Mac downloads are hosted on dl.termyapp.com.
